Fluidapp for mac

Colleague and general all round cool guy (Conrad Strydom) IM’ed (yes i know IM is so web 1.0) me this link the other day and it changed my life. No not really. Just my browsing habits. FF3 is fan-tas-tic (as conrad would put it) but one can only have so many tabs.

Air-knee-way Fluidapp makes those webpages behave as if they were integrated with the mac’s windowing system. Again slowly without the g33k sp34k. Fluidapp makes webapps behave like desktop apps (on ze mac of course)

Imagine being able to launch GMail, Google Reader, Google Cal (sorry i’m a fanboy), Twitter (boo!) or your wordpress.com dashboard from Spotlight. Or imagine seeing them in your dock bar including the cool icon overlay displaying how many unread emails you’ve got. You can Exposé these windows. Even view them using Mac’s “preview“.

Imagining sucks doesn’t it? I urge you. Stop reading this darn crap blog post and try it out already. Its bloddy easy to use (batteries sold separately. geek not included)

Oh and you’ll want some cool icons for your fluidapps
